Dear Students, Parents, and Staff, It gives me immense joy to welcome you to the academic year 2026–2027 at St. Francis School, Borivali. Every new academic year is like opening a fresh chapter—filled with opportunities, purpose, and promise. Rooted in the values of St. Francis of Assisi, we remain committed to shaping young minds with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Our students have consistently excelled academically. This year, out of 126 students, 62 have scored above 90%. About Us

St. Francis School, Borivali is an unaided Christian Minority institution established in 2005, by the Congregation of Missionary Brothers of St. Francis of Assisi (CMSF). Francis Brothers, a Christian Religious Order founded by Rev. Bro. Paulus Moritz in the year 1901, is well known in India and across the globe for its valuable contribution in different fields.

The Congregation has over hundred well established centres in India which include: Schools, Colleges, Engineering and Management Institutes, Industrial Training Institutes, Hospitals, Homes for the Aged, Orphanages, Social Welfare Centres, etc. It has branches in countries like Sri Lanka, U.S.A., Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Paraguay, Bolivia and Canada.

St. Francis School, Borivali is a co-educational institution open to children of all communities. It follows the syllabus of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) , Delhi and the medium of instruction is English.

We strive to inculcate in students a sound philosophy of life based on faith in God, respect for the individual, concern for the less priviledged of the society and ideals of truth and justice.

I am delighted to share a moment of great joy and honour for our institution. St. Francis School CISCE, Borivali, has been conferred the Best School Award (2025–26) by EduConnectIn for excellence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Raising of NCC Unit at St. Francis School, Borivali (West)
St. Francis School, Borivali (West), has been officially allotted a National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit under the 3 Maharashtra Battalion NCC, Mumbai, marking a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to holistic education and nation-building.
As per Letter No. 7206/NCC/Plg/SA dated 01 July 2025, issued by the NCC Directorate, Maharashtra, the school has been sanctioned one Troop comprising 100 cadets (Junior Division / Junior Wing – JD/JW). This allotment has been formally conferred by the 3 Maharashtra Battalion NCC, headquartered in Mumbai.
The NCC unit was raised under the guidance and authority of Colonel D. S. Sayana, Commanding Officer, 3 Maharashtra Battalion NCC, with the certificate issued at Mumbai on 01 August 2025.
The introduction of NCC at St. Francis School will provide students with valuable opportunities to develop discipline, leadership, character, physical fitness, and a spirit of service to the nation. Guided by the NCC motto “Unity and Discipline” and the principle “Cadet First”, the programme aims to nurture responsible citizens and future leaders.
This prestigious inclusion further strengthens the school’s vision of shaping well-rounded individuals who are academically competent, socially responsible, and nationally committed.

Continuation of ISO 9001:2015 Certification
St. Francis School, Borivali (West), is pleased to announce the successful continuation of its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification, reaffirming the school’s commitment to excellence, consistency, and continual improvement in educational practices.
Following the Second Surveillance Audit conducted by Magnitude Management Services Pvt. Ltd., the school has been found compliant with all the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The audit covered the scope of “Imparting Education from Nursery to Standard X”, validating the effectiveness and robustness of the school’s quality management processes.
The continuation certificate was issued on 14 November 2025, and the certification remains valid until 15 December 2026. The Re-Certification Audit is scheduled to be conducted on or before 15 December 2026.
This achievement reflects the dedicated efforts of the management, teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, students, and parents in upholding high standards of academic delivery, administrative efficiency, and student-centric processes.
